Do you have employees who need to quickly get up to speed with Terra Dotta software? Do you have new staff who need a solid, holistic understanding of TDS? If you said yes to any of the questions above, this program is ideal for you.
Terra Dotta Boot Camp is a 2-day, hands-on, immersive workshop designed to rapidly build your skills as a Terra Dotta administrator.
As a participant, you will receive access to your own Terra Dotta software site for 30 days. You will start with a blank copy of the software and wind up with a functional instance similar to those used in real-world applications.
Experienced instructors will guide you through exercises that teach core features for building your site and completing daily tasks and processes.
Two Boot Camps will be held on November 10-11 in New Orleans, LA. There will be a Study Abroad Boot Camp and an International Student & Scholar Boot Camp that includes training in the SEVIS Easy module.

Brexit. There isn’t much that hasn’t yet been written about the potential impacts on higher education by the UK’s departure from the EU. Articles of gloom and doom are counterbalanced by those expressing hopeful positivity, but at this point, all are largely speculation. Heidi Stetts is a Client Support Specialist who started with Terra Dotta in April of 2015. She works with clients on implementation, support cases, and Terra Dotta administrator services. She also assists our development team with Quality Assurance testing.
Heidi was a Records Assistant followed by a Faculty Led Programs Assistant all within the Directorate of Study Abroad at Penn State.
She completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family studies and a minor in Classical and Ancient Mediterranean Studies at Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, Heidi likes photography, hiking, live music, painting, and sushi. One activity she has always wanted to do is to go backpacking for an extended amount of time along the Pacific Coast Trail or basically any mountain range in Europe.
Heidi says her favorite part of working at Terra Dotta is, “The helpfulness of my colleagues on the Support team. Everyone is always so willing to take time out of their day to help another team member if asked.” |

With the SEVIS Module, clients can submit batch requests to SEVIS to create and update records. This session will provide an overview and one end-to-end demonstration of batch functionality: 1 - how to initiate batch create requests and batch updates within Terra Dotta, 2 - the advisor role, and 3 - the SEVIS process to accept, complete, and return the batch updates to TDS.

You'll walk away with a better understanding of how PVM is a TDS cornerstone and with some tips for developing your own plan for application cycle management.

Terra Dotta is looking for a qualified candidate with SEVIS experience working in an International Student & Scholar Services office to assist with software implementations and respond to software questions from clients. We are looking for a self-starter, who is able to establish a strong, positive rapport with staff at client institutions and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing business. The Client Support Specialist will provide training, answer questions, create documentation, resolve software problems, and work with developers to test and support new versions of TDS.
