It's here! It's here! TDS16 has been released to our hosted and SaaS clients, while installed clients will see their release on August 26. Right away, users will see a new look to their pages. Gone is the sidebar in favor of drop downs across the page and new buttons. The look is new and fresh.
Perhaps most exciting for us at Terra Dotta is the new responsive design. Out with the old static look and in with a new look that automatically re-formats depending on the size of your screen. This new design will prove handy when accessing a site with your phone or tablet.
Other updates are included in this new release, most notably the Application Submit button and improvements to itineraries. The new Application Submit button assists advisors with tracking completed phases, and provides submission confirmation to the applicant. And TDS16 now notifies you when itineraries are missing or incomplete.
What users won’t see is the significant coding overhaul that occurred with this release. TDS16 represents Terra Dotta’s “biggest upgrade to date, by many, many measures,” says CTO Garrett Christian. Countless hours have been spent in development and rigorous testing by members of Terra Dotta’s Development, Support and Professional Services teams.
Responsive. Functional. User friendly. TDS16 embodies a big step forward, in line with our mission “to offer the very best products and services in higher education software…through the continual deployment of best-in- class technology.” If you are not currently using Terra Dotta software, contact us for a demo today.

So, too, do our orientation programs. As you prepare your pre-departure or arrival orientation sessions on the topic of Health & Safety, have you found yourself wondering if, given world and national events of late, you should be providing new, additional information?
