Over the past nine months, Terra Dotta has worked with several colleges and universities to implement their TDS purchase with a One Week Workshop. The process aims to build all the necessary functionality to go live with TDS. After five days of meetings with a Terra Dotta Project Specialist, who acts as a guide through the implementation process, universities should be trained in the software building process and in a position to launch.
Educational Programmes Abroad recently completed one of these launches with the assistance of Terra Dotta Project Specialist, Mark Landon. Lisa Frauens, U.S. Program Director at EPA, said that "it was great working with Mark to set up our Terra Dotta site…he explained different aspects of the software and then we shared assignments to complete before our next meeting. Mark was always receptive to answering any questions that I had, and he helped me figure out ways to handle situations specific to our organization."
When asked about assisting clients during their One Week launches, Mark said that "one thing I've learned is that no two One-Week Workshops are alike. Each office has different needs and different ideas."
Universities working with Terra Dotta to complete their own One Week Workshop should expect to dedicate thirty hours of time to the process during that week. Currently, these One Week Workshops are only available to non-integrated, SaaS, clients. More information on the One Week Workshop is available here.
